Our President
I frequently contemplate Cedar Lake’s mission. While only one sentence long, it has broad and serious implications divided into its two components: First, “to provide residential options’ to persons with intellectual disabilities. Second, is to ‘meet their individual needs.’ Over the course of my 35-year career, I have come to learn that the first part, while important, is often not that difficult. To me, the real key is meeting the ‘individual needs’ of those we serve, and that aspect is far the more complex and professionally challenging because the needs of individuals vary so dramatically. In fact, it is what drives me every day to make sure that our residents’ needs are being met.
