Cedar Lake Foundation's largest fundraising event, First Light, is held in November each year. Past venues for the black-tie optional gala include the Louisville Marriott Downtown, The Henry Clay and The Olmsted.

The event draws more than 400 guests and raises in excess of $100,000 that directly benefits adults with intellectual disabilities.
