About Cedar Lake Foundation, Inc. Cedar Lake Foundation is a publicly supported, charitable supporting organization designed to provide fundraising, endowment management and trust services. One of the primary functions of the Cedar Lake Foundation is to provide financial assistance for residents who are indigent, abandoned, have a limited ability to pay, and/or do not have available or adequate forms of governmental assistance. Currently, about 25% of the persons served by Cedar Lake Lodge and Cedar Lake Residences are indigent, abandoned or need financial assistance. CLF also provides funding for services that are beneficial to clients but are not reimbursed by Medicaid. Each year, Cedar Lake Foundation provides $500,000 for such assistance. The Cedar Lake Foundation enjoys wide support from the community, receiving gifts and grants from more than 3,500 generous and caring individuals, churches, service clubs, corporations, and private foundations. All contributions and bequests made to Cedar Lake Foundation are tax-deductible to the full extent of the laws of the Internal Revenue Service and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
