This program provides supported independent living options for persons with mild or moderate levels of mental retardation and developmental disabilities who desire to live independently in the community. Cedar Lake staff provides a minimum of 10 hours of support services per month. Individuals work in the community at least 20 hours per week. Clients typically receive supports in areas such as nutrition planning, grocery shopping, financial management, developing social skills, homemaking and safety skills as well as benefits coordination.
