Cedar Lake Lodge and Residences

In May of 2011, Cedar Lake Residences was inducted into theKentucky Affordable Housing Hall of Fame. This tremendous honor was highlighted by the fact that CLR is the first private nonprofit agency ever to be recognized in the Hall of Fame. A recent article in a HUD publication about CLR's award stated that "all Kentuckians should be proud of the safe and nuturing environment they (CLR) provide."

CLR received its first HUD project grant in 1994, and has been awarded nine more since.

CLR's properties consistently rate "superior" on HUD's annual reviews. This is the hightest rating available. HUD has previously recognized CLR's excellence with the following awards: Special Needs Project of the Year (1999); Best New Project (2002);Manager of the Year--Martina Netherton (2005); Best New Project (2008); 100% REAC Inspection--Maintenance
